FFI aims at a fashion sector with more and mature companies with local and international fame. To achieve this, FFI informs about Belgian fashion, advises fashion designers and labels on business topics, promotes them abroad and coaches a selection of young designers with high potential.

School for Footwear and Leather Goods.

The Footwear Department of the Faculty of Textile and Leather Engineering enjoys a good reputation due to its pioneering work in teaching, scientific and technological areas. Since 1948 the Footwear Department has continued to develop in prestige covering the Romanian footwear and leather goods industry needs for technologists and designers. Nowadays our school trains over 25 students per year, in a full five years teaching scheme. Our graduates are constantly demanded by employers’ trough the country, so that the rate of the graduates' employment in footwear and allied industries is about 98%. We would like to initiate academic relationships with other similar institution from all over the world. We will be very happy to establish new contacts with other similar schools.
